Four short clips from the bar's Facebook page, shot on a phone from the tables beside the stage and from behind the counter. No narration, no drinks, no captions about anything but the band and the room. The first one is the reason to come.

A band night, from the counter
Eighty-four seconds from behind the counter: the tables filling, the band, the lights. The longest of the four and the closest to what a Friday feels like.
A birthday at the tables by the stage
Thirty-five seconds of somebody's birthday at the stage-side tables, balloons and all. The tables hold a party as well as they hold a couple.
The staff, at the bar
Nineteen seconds of the people who run the counter, posing because they were asked to. Min, Save, Bank, May, Annie and Rita, in some order.
What to watch for in the first clip
Sixty-eight seconds from a table along the stage edge, on a band night. The camera is at chest height and three metres from the drum kit, which is the point: this is what the seat sees. At about ten seconds the singer looks straight down the lens between lines, which she does at the tables all night because they are close enough to make eye contact with. At about forty seconds the camera pans right and you get the Las Vegas neon over the stage, the keyboard player under it, and, at the edge, the bass player in the back corner under the exit sign, which is where he always is. The sound is the phone's, so the mix is rough; the volume is honest.
The second clip is from behind the counter, which is the other angle we have: the harp on the tap in the foreground, the row of tables, the stage beyond. It is eighty-four seconds because the person filming forgot to stop, and it is the closest thing here to what a Friday feels like from where Save and Bank stand.
Why there are only four, and what the fifth will be
The bar has a Facebook page and staff with phones, and between them they have made four videos in two years that are usable, which is four more than most bars and about forty fewer than we should have. The rule for what goes on this page is the same as for the photographs: shot by us, from our seats, nothing about drinks, no burnt-in captions we cannot read.
The fifth video, the one we have not made, is the one people actually need: sixty seconds walking in from Soi Diana, past the front bars, up the middle to the stage, the turn right, the sign, the seat. Every page on this site draws that walk as a plan because nobody has yet filmed it. When it exists it goes at the top of this page and the location guide, and on the YouTube channel the bar does not yet have. The shot list in the assets folder has it as the first item.

The most useful video the bar can make and the one it has not made yet: a phone walk in from Soi Diana, past the front bars, up the middle to the stage, the turn right, the sign, the seat. When it exists it goes at the top of this page and on the location guide. Until then, the plan below does the same job in a drawing.

Past Pocket Kings, Palace, the V Bar, Full House, Viva, Aces High, MGN and Black Jack. The music gets louder with every step.
At the stage, look right
A black disc ringed with bulbs, a gold crown over the K. That's the door. The toilets are just past it, which is why everyone walks by at least once.
