Plates from across the road
Lee's Diner and Craft Cottage, both across Soi Diana, cook for the bar. Order at the counter, and it arrives on plates with cutlery, not in a box, and there is no charge for the walk.
Guinness · KQ Bar · Las Vegas Beer Garden, Soi Diana
From a keg, in two parts, 6 PM until 3 AM, at the counter facing the band. Two minutes from LK Metro: walk in from Soi Diana, keep going to the stage, look right for the black-and-gold sign.

The pour
The brewery's own method, and the one that takes long enough that you will stand at the counter for a couple of minutes.
Glass at forty-five degrees under the tap, filled to three-quarters, then set down on the counter.
The surge runs down the glass and turns from tan to black from the bottom up. Nobody touches it for about a minute and a half.
Back under the tap, glass upright, until the head stands just proud of the rim.
To the seat beside the stage, if you were early, or the counter facing it if you were not.
When
The counter opens at six. The band is on from nine, Tuesday to Sunday, and the DJ on Monday. If you want the pint and a seat beside the stage, half past seven on a Friday or Saturday is the time to arrive.

What goes with it
Lee's Diner and Craft Cottage, both across Soi Diana, cook for the bar. Order at the counter, and it arrives on plates with cutlery, not in a box, and there is no charge for the walk.
The tables along the right-hand edge of the stage are KQ's. Close enough to see the drummer count in, and the only seats in the hall with the band in front of you rather than behind.
Football on the screens with the sound down while the band plays. It is not a sports bar and does not claim to be; the Irish House, 400 metres away, has the commentary on.

The tap arrived with the bar. When KQ opened in the back-right corner of the hall in April 2024, in the space that had been the Wynn Bar, the counter came with a proper keg line and a harp on it, and the first review that mentions the pint is from the following month. We infer the April date from that review and from the opening-month posts; the bar's own records are a bar's own records. What is not inferred is that none of the other nine bars in the hall has one, and that two years on, ours is still the only Guinness tap inside Las Vegas Beer Garden.
Why it matters more here than in an Irish pub: an Irish pub has the pint and nothing else to compete with it. We have a band three metres away. The pint takes about two minutes to pour properly, in two parts, with a settle in the middle that cannot be hurried. On a Friday at half past eight that is two minutes at the counter with the first set starting behind you, and Save will not hurry it. Most people who order one order the second before the first is gone, which is either the pour or the band, and we have never worked out which.
The Irish, obviously, who review it with the seriousness of people who have opinions about the pint at home. "One of the best I have had outside Ireland," wrote one in May 2024, and we have quoted him exactly and not improved on him. The British over fifty, for whom a Guinness in a Thai bar is a small flag planted. The Australians, who order it to see if it is real. And, more each month, Thai regulars, who tried it once because it was the odd tap on the counter and now order it by pointing at the harp.
What it is not for is the heat outside; a pint of stout at thirty-five degrees is a mistake, which is why the hall's air-conditioning is not a detail on this page but the reason the tap works at all. The whole hall runs at about twenty. A stout at twenty degrees, three metres from a band, is a different proposition from a stout on a pavement, and it is the proposition we are making.
The price, because Thai law since November 2025 does not allow a bar to advertise one. That it is the finest in the city, because the law lists the phrase and because the claim is our regulars' to make, not ours. What we will say is that it comes from a keg, through a tap, in two parts, and that you can drink it in a seat that can see the drummer count in.

Google's listing does not say whether it comes from a tap or a can, so ask before you sit down. We say that rather than guess. Distances are from our door.

Checked on 8 September 2026. The nearby list comes from Google Maps searches for Guinness around Soi Diana on that date. One thing on this page is our inference rather than a record: that the tap has been pouring since the first week in April 2024. The earliest review that mentions it is from May 2024.
How to find us
One way in, one way out. Nine bars stand between the gate and us, and each will invite you in. Keep walking.
The big Las Vegas Beer Garden sign, two minutes from LK Metro. Free entry, no ticket, no dress code.
Past Pocket Kings, Palace, the V Bar, Full House, Viva, Aces High, MGN and Black Jack. The music gets louder with every step.
A black disc ringed with bulbs, a gold crown over the K. That's the door. The toilets are just past it, which is why everyone walks by at least once.
KQ has its own pin on Google Maps, separate from the complex. Tap it and the blue dot ends at our bar, not the front gate.
