MHz Band Thailand
Tuesday to Sunday, 9 PM–1 AM. Rock and pop covers, three sets, requests between songs. The tables beside them are ours.
Checked against Google on 9 September 2026
Every listing says "live music". Almost none says who. This page names the house bands and resident singers that anyone has bothered to write down, says which nights they play, and then ranks all 26 venues with a band by Google's numbers. One of the six named bands plays three metres from our tables.

The residents
The ones a listing or a named review identifies. Most Pattaya bands go unnamed, which is a shame, because the good ones deserve a following. These have one.
Tuesday to Sunday, 9 PM–1 AM. Rock and pop covers, three sets, requests between songs. The tables beside them are ours.
Tuesday–Sunday, 9 PM–1 AM; DJ Monday until half past two, in the bar's own words. Rock and metal, tribute nights, requests for a tip.
Reggae, ska and two-tone with live singers every night at both rooms, and a stage you are welcome on.
Seventies, eighties and nineties pop and rock in the evening, at a corner bar that opens for breakfast.
A DJ who sings, which reviewers mention more than the band. Rock, pop and Thai songs after sundown.
Named in reviews without a band name: classic metal and hard rock built around one player.
By the night you are free
23 of the rooms on this page have a band or singers every night. Ours is the one where the act changes with the day: MHz Band Thailand six nights, the complex's DJ two. Each night has its own page.

All 26, best first
Google rating times the log of the review count, on 9 September 2026. The same twenty-six as our live music guide, in a different order: that page groups by what you will hear and this one asks only how good the room is by the numbers. Ours is in there where the numbers put it.

Live rock and heavy metal every night from 9 PM until 2:30 AM, in the bar's own words, with a house band, tribute nights (a Van Halen tribute in October 2025), requests for a tip, a kitchen, and a crowd that fills the room by eleven. Reviewers note there are no bar girls.

Dine, drink, dance, in its own three words: a Thai crowd, a DJ, singers on some nights and a kitchen people rate. The 4.9 from nearly five hundred reviews is the highest of any nightlife place this side of Beach Road.
What reviewers mention most: songs, atmosphere (122 reviews), lovely staff, DJ.
Thai bands and a DJ set for a mostly Thai crowd, loud, warm when full, and worth booking a table for. The reviews that mention it are from people who wanted a local night rather than a tourist one.
What reviewers mention most: local pub, beautiful music, Thai food, live bands.
From KQ: Five minutes east; a motorbike taxi knows it.
A lot of Thai people are there to have fun. It's really authentic and local. Usually, a band plays Thai songs.

Reggae, ska and two-tone with live singers every night, and a stage you are welcome on if you can hold a tune. The second Trench Town; the original on Soi Buakhao opened in 2017. A minute from our door, so the two are easy to pair.

From KQ: Out of the complex and straight into LK Metro; it is on the alley.
If you like reggae ska two tone then this is your place.

A cocktail lounge a hundred metres up Soi Diana, with live music and karaoke nights on Google's listing and bartenders that reviewers from three continents rate. Not a band bar; the place for the hour before or after one.
What reviewers mention most: cocktail presentation, live music, kind staff.

Even in the USA it is very rare to see this level of craftsmanship.

Rock inside the Tree Town market with a pool table and a band that takes requests and, according to more than one reviewer, does not play the same tired set every night.
What reviewers mention most: band, musicians, song requests.
From KQ: Soi Buakhao north to Tree Town, five minutes.
The musicians that play here are amazing and don't seem to play the tired old tracks on repeat that some do in Pattaya.

Ours, declared
MHz Band Thailand play the stage at the back of Las Vegas Beer Garden from 9 PM to 1 AM, Tuesday to Sunday. The tables along the stage's right-hand edge are KQ Bar's, three metres from the drum kit, in front of the band rather than beside it. On a Friday or Saturday they go by half past seven. The band has its own page; so do the seats.

Second set
Every band on this list plays other people's songs, because that is what a room in Pattaya asks for, and the difference between a band worth crossing the city for and one that is wallpaper is in three things you can hear from the door. The drummer: a covers band lives or dies on whether the drummer is playing the song or playing along with it, and the good ones here are the ones whose drummer counts in with intent. The mix: a band that can hear itself plays together, and a band that cannot plays loud; the rooms with a proper desk and somebody at it are the ones where you can pick out the bass. And the set list: whether the band plays the twenty songs every band plays, or wanders, which the reviews on this page mention when it happens.
MHz Band Thailand are at the top of the six house bands because they are the one we hear six nights a week, and because on those three counts they are the tightest band in Central Pattaya. We would say that. The reviews, read closely on the reviews page, say it in other people's words, and the guitarist's solos in the second set are the thing people mention who did not expect to.

Ratings, review counts and hours are Google's on 9 September 2026. The house bands are named only where a listing or a named review names them; where a review praises "the band" without a name, the venue is on the list and the band is not. If you are in one of these bands and want your name here, message the bar with a photo. The complex's own site has a shorter list of top venues.
How to find us
One way in, one way out. Nine bars stand between the gate and us, and each will invite you in. Keep walking.
The big Las Vegas Beer Garden sign, two minutes from LK Metro. Free entry, no ticket, no dress code.
Past Pocket Kings, Palace, the V Bar, Full House, Viva, Aces High, MGN and Black Jack. The music gets louder with every step.
A black disc ringed with bulbs, a gold crown over the K. That's the door. The toilets are just past it, which is why everyone walks by at least once.
KQ has its own pin on Google Maps, separate from the complex. Tap it and the blue dot ends at our bar, not the front gate.
