Pattaya Beer Garden
A bar-restaurant on a pier beside Walking Street with the whole bay in front of it, a big Thai and Western menu and a burger with its own name. Not connected to Las Vegas Beer Garden, and people confuse the two.

Beer Hubb - Nakluea Branch

Trench Town Rasta Bar - Soi Buakhao
The original, open since 2017: reggae and ska with live singers, a Bob Marley wall, karaoke nights, and the same welcome as the LK Metro branch with a bigger room.

KQ Bar has the counter, the bin, the screen with the sound off, the staff who read whether you want to talk, and the regulars. What it has that a beer bar does not is a roof with air-conditioning under it, a stage three metres from the tables, and the only Guinness tap inside Las Vegas Beer Garden. Ten beer bars share the hall. Ours is the tenth, at the back on the right.

What is a beer bar in Pattaya?
An open-fronted counter with stools, a fridge, a fan, a television and staff who sit and talk with you if you want them to. Not a pub, not a go-go; the plain unit of Pattaya drinking, found by the hundred on Soi Buakhao, in Tree Town, on Soi 7 and 8 and along LK Metro. Your bill is the slips in the cup on the counter.
Where are the beer bars in Pattaya?
Everywhere, but in clusters: Soi Buakhao and Tree Town in Central Pattaya, Soi 7 and Soi 8 between Second Road and the beach, LK Metro, Soi 6 in North Pattaya, and the beer bar complexes. Las Vegas Beer Garden on Soi Diana is ten of them under one cold roof with a stage.

Is Las Vegas Beer Garden a beer bar?
It is ten of them, inside one air-conditioned hall, sharing a stage. Each of the ten keeps its own counter, bill and staff. Ours is the last on the right, beside the stage, with the only Guinness tap in the building.
Do beer bars in Pattaya have air-conditioning?
Almost never; the open front is the point and the fan is the concession. The hall on Soi Diana is the exception, and our air-conditioned bars page lists the few other rooms reviewers call cold.
What is the etiquette in a beer bar?
